HDPE Geomembrane Welding Technicians / Senior Installers

With a strong national presence and head office based in Adelaide, our continued growth has created multiple opportunities for flexible and highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team.

We have a number of HDPE Geomembrane Welding Technician positions available for experienced and ticketed welders, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the largest lining projects in Australia.

What you'll be doing:

• Installation of geomembrane liners;
• Perform geomembrane welding unsupervised, using products such as HDPE, LLDPE and PP;
• Ensure wedge welding equipment is maintained and serviced;
• Perform quality geomembrane welds that meet quality standards and expectations;
• Test integrity of all plastic welds and ensure all welds meet the minimum requirements;
• Ensure correct methodology is used to fabricate geomembrane materials in the most practical and time efficient way;
• Deployment of materials; and
• General labouring duties.

Due to the location and type of work you must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be physically fit.

What we're looking for:

• You must be able to demonstrate a solid work history and experience working as a Geomembrane Technician;
• IAGI or TWI certification highly desirable;
• Current White Card or equivalent is required;
• Current unrestricted drivers licence is required;
• Ability to understand and follow instructions;
• Be a recognised team player and have the ability to work in a team based environment;
• Commitment and a good attitude towards safety and culture;
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as manual labour;
• Strong communication skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Willingness to grow and develop within a dynamic, changing environment; and
• Understand and work to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) requirements.

You will be required to travel and work on various sites around Australia on a roster basis and stay in camp style accommodation therefore flexibility, a good attitude and reliable transport is a must!
