Project Scope:
Prior to contract award Fabtech provided specification and design advice to AGL. Fabtech was contracted by Ostwald Bros who were the head contractor for this remote area holding pond. The project criteria was to supply and install a geotextile cushion layer under an HDPE liner system. The surface area lined was approximately 100,000m2. The project was completed at night to avoid high daytime temperatures and solar loading compromising weld integrity and to assist in managing employee fatigue.
