Project Scope:
Installation of lining systems to 500,000m2 of surface configured as four discrete ponds with connecting spillways, HDPE plate sumps, and HDPE plate mounting systems for inlet and outlet pipework. This required in excess of 150km of fusion seam welding to strict QC requirements. The lining system comprised a geotextile cushion layer under a 2mm HDPE primary liner. In addition to the on-site QC protocols all weld seam destructive tests were verified by a third party NATA test lab.
