How do I measure my pool?
  • If rectangular measure the width and length of your pool
  • If your pool is an alternative shape, measure the longest and widest part
  • Fabtech is able to manufacture blankets to meet your pool size requirements from domestic pools to Olympic sized swimming pools

 

What’s the difference between 400 and 500 micron?
  • ‘micron’ refers to thickness
  • A 500 micron pool cover is slightly thicker, meaning it will last a couple of extra seasons

 

Does Fabtech provide a warranty?
  • Yes. Fabtech provides a 5 year pro rata warranty subject to standard terms and conditions.

 

How long does it take to make?
  • 3 – 4 working days

 

How do I install my pool blanket?
  1. Ensure the pool water level is correct
  2. Lay the blanket bubble side down on the pool water, (smooth side up).
  3. Remove any air pockets beneath the blanket with your pool broom
  4. Cut your blanket with a normal pair of scissors to the shape of your pool. When finished we recommend you leave around 75mm/ 3” rising up the side of your pool. While cutting, ensure you watch the side you are not cutting as it is easy to accidentally pull the blanket away from the opposite side and this can result in the blanket being too small. We recommend you do a “rough” cut first around 100mm larger than the pool, then rim the blanket to its final size 75mm larger than your pool.
